SICK TEAM/GREEN BUTTERとしての活動でも知られるプロデューサー、BUDAMUNKの新たなるプロジェクトは『Movin’ Scent』にも参加していたジャズ・ピアニスト、TSUGGSとのコラボ・アルバム！
Budamunkの新作はRoy Hargroveの “The RH Factor” にも鍵盤で参加し、Count Basie Orchestraの第5代目ピアノプレーヤーでもあるTony SuggsことTSuggsとのコラボプロジェクト。
今までのヒップホップとジャズや古今東西のコネクションが成し得なかった分厚さと深度の探求を現した、いくつもの世代を超越する技法と時が独自の空間を発生させるレコード。Kendrick Lamar, Mac Miller, Ty Dolla $ignなどの作品に参加でも知られるシンガーIman Omariや, MCのT.I.V.E., DJ Yuzeに加えAmeen Saleem, 吉田サトシ、日野Jino賢二, Patriq Moodyなどジャズのミュージシャンらも参加。今作のLPは名立たるアーティストからの支持も熱いUSの名門ヒップホップレーベル”FATBEATS”から発売、そして日本版のフィジカル（CD）はDogearRecordsからのリリース！！
Budamunk has combined his talents with Tony Suggs, provider of the keys to Roy Hargrove’s ‘RH Factor’ as well as the Count Basie Orchestra. T. Suggs has also collaborated with the Manhattan Transfer, Patti Austin, and Marlena Shaw among others. ‘Thank and Gro’ realizes a robust yet soothing sonic environment distilling elements transcending time, location, and genre. Instrumental additions provided by Ameen Saleem, Satoshi Yoshida, Kenji ‘Jino’ Hino, and Patriq Moody. Phonetic accompaniments courtesy of Iman Omari and T.I.V.E. DJ YUZE on the cuts.
